Even a member cybojenix Made the first custom recovery for Moto E . He made a TWRP recovery which can be used to flash different roms . The version of TWRP is 2.7.0.0 .

1. First Unlock Your Moto E bootloader from here .
2. Run these commands on ADB.
3. Now reboot to recovery .
